東京港区にあるサマーヒルインターナショナルスクールの1.8歳から5歳の子どもたちとのコラボレーションによる展覧会です。
私たちは、ひとり一人に違いはあっても、私たちをしあわせにしてくれるのは、思いやりとやさしさにあふれた平和の世界であることは同じ。子どもたちが描く、平和とは？
なお、この展覧会では、すべての作品がオークションアイテムとして出品され、どなたでも参加することができます（最終入札は31日午後6時より）。落札価格の80％はアメリカの里親支援団体であるPlan USAhttp://www.planusa.org/ の"Gift of Hope"キャンペーンヘ、また20％は、インド・ダラムサラにあるチベット亡命政府のTibetan Children Village http://www.tcv.org.in/ に寄付されます。
This exhibition is collaborated with Summerhill International School children in Tokyo. What is peace that everyone has in their hearts? How is a peaceful world filled with compassion? Please find brilliant art works, "pieces of peace."
All the art works will be auctioned. 80% of the proceeds will go to Plan USA http://www.planusa.org/ for "Gift of Hope" and 20% to Tibetan Children's Village http://www.tcv.org.in/ . This auction will be open to public, but on the final day of auction, May 31, we will have a live auction from 6pm especially for Summerhill families. Though the space is limited, but please do come over to us and bid a masterpiece and a good deed!

This is my favorite quote by George William Curtis. When you give something to others you feel this happiness that remains with you for a very long time. The reward of giving is much bigger than the actual thing you give.

◆キュレーターの視点から From the Curator：
あなたが内包する平和のこころで、困難を乗り越える。
私がこれまで知る限り、チベット仏教においては、目の前に現れるすべての困難は自分自身から生じたものだ、と考えられています。 これは同時に、もし、あなたの心が思いやりと平和の心で満たされていれば、この世界はやがて変わり、すばらしい世の中が訪れることになります。
私は、このギャラリーをオープンする以前から、アートというものは、私たちにあらゆる障壁――たとえば、国籍、言語、宗教、政治、性別、年齢など、これまで数々の愚行を引き起こしてきた要因を越えていく力を私たちに与えてくれるのでは、と考えています。
この企画展では、サマーヒル・インターナショナルスクールとのコラボレーションというすばらしい機会を得ることができました。サマーヒルの先生方、そしてスタッフの方々、特にモニーク・ケラー校長には心から感謝申し上げます。その熱心なご協力なしでは、この企画展を成し得ませんでした。ご来廊の皆様がどうかこの展覧会を楽しんでいただけますように。また、あなたが内包する平和のこころにご自身が触れる機会となりますように。

Over any barriers, with your inner peace.
As far as I know, in Tibetan Buddhism, all the difficulties that appear to you are coming out of yourself. This may also say, if your heart is filled with compassion and peace, the world will change, and it might be a wonderful world in future.
Before I started this gallery, I’ve noticed art can give much power to us to overcome those barriers --- like nationality, language, religion, politics, sex, age and etc, which sometimes bring on lamentable follies. In this exhibition, I would like to prove that you all, even such little children have your own piece of peace in your heart. When you feel and share it, you will be filled in peace.
For this exhibition, I could have a great opportunity to collaborate with Summerhill International School. I would like to thank to all the Summerhill teachers and staffs, especially the director, Mrs. Monique Keller. I could not accomplish this exhibition without their enthusiastic help. I hope you all enjoy this exhibition, and those pieces give you a chance to touch your inner peace.
